Suspension

January 2011,
After inspection of the front suspension, I determined that the rotors were rusted and pitted beyond resurfacing; the right hand side trunion pin was bent and needed to be replaced and the calipers were frozen due to rust.  Following disassembly of the front suspension, I discovered a broken spring on the left side and the swivel links bushings needed to be replaced.
To compress the coil springs for assembly, I used a makeshift coil spring compressor, made from 2 steel rods and 2 turnbuckles.
